The city is situated in the southwestern coast of the Iberian Peninsula in the region of Spain known as Andalusia. It is considered a bridge between Europe and Africa, and, certainly, you find the two cultures intimately entwined in nearly all aspects of the art and culture.

Still sheltered by its surrounding walls, is known by the people of Cadiz simply as Cadiz. This area preserves the charm of all the ancient cultures that have enriched it through the centuries.

One of the city’s major attractions
La Caleta is the only beach inside the old quarters of the city. The ‘Balneario de la Palma’ (a beach spa) opened in 1926. It was built at the centre of the beach.
In the new part of the city you will find the beaches of Santa María del Mar, La Victoria and Cortadura. Together they add up to 10 Km. of fine sand beaches. During the summer you can join in all the activities available such as windsurf championships, beach-volley, aerobics, etc.-

What could be easier? Our school is based in the beautiful old part of the city in one of the most central and quietest ´pedestrian only´ streets….Calle Ancha. What could be nicer…. surrounded by universities, plazas, coffee shops, bars, monuments, libraries, shops…but unbelievably students can easy be at the beach in only five minutes walking time... a fantastic location.
